Hemse Mug, Handmade
This Viking Age drinking vessel is based on a find from Hemse on Gotland, Sweden. It has a unique design with a handle which is rarely seen in Viking Age finds. The vessel is wholly hand-made without a potterās wheel, just as the original was made over 1000 years ago.
In order to make it more durable and easier to clean, itās made from stoneware with a glazed inside. This allows it to be washed in a dish washer and it can also withstand a microwave oven.
- Holds approx. 3 dl (10 oz)
- Handmade stoneware
- Based on a historical find
- The inside glazing is matt
